Management Skills for New Leaders

This program ensures new leaders have practical, usable, skills for handling the day-to-day issues they will face in a position of leadership.

Your new leaders may need these skills if:
Managers lack confidence to handle employee performance consistently and fairly. Managers do not have a mechanism for learning the critical skills needed to lead others. Roles, expectations, and personal style are unclear.

Program Outcomes include:

  • Use a communication model to clearly define the layers of any problem
  • Coach employees to higher levels of performance
  • Manage change using leadership actions that identify potential problems and address them early

Logistics:
Five-day program; two trainers; Maximum - 20 participants
